Padre Burgos Elementary School (PBES) has once again made its mark in the academic arena by securing the 2nd Runner-Up title at the recently concluded 2024 Division Science and Technology Fair. The event, which showcased the talents and skills of students from various schools in the division, was a resounding success for PBES.

The school’s delegation, consisting of students, teachers, and parents, participated in a variety of competitions, including the Science Warriors, Poster Making Contest, Science Tricks, and Science Booth. The students’ outstanding performances in these competitions earned them several awards and recognition.

In the Science Warriors category, Jairon Zeth D. Ermoso, Ellyn E. Albarando, Edziel Shan A. Tajos, Julian Kiefer O. Dela Cruz, and their trainers, Mariecel M. Galangco, Mylene G. Seloterio, Cristina O. Oberes, and Shydney A. Bayanito, placed 3rd. Sitti Eiliyah Harun, with Oliver B. Dizon as her trainer, won 3rd place in the Poster Making Contest. Gabe Lorenzo R. Boces, with Shydney A. Bayanito as his trainer, emerged as the champion in the Science Tricks category.

The Science Booth, manned by Princess Dianne Itallo, Michaela Rein I. Guzman, Faith A. Hernandez, and Shon Gabriel D. Casyao, was also a hit among the visitors, showcasing the school’s innovative projects and ideas.

In addition to the winners, PBES also recognized the efforts of all the participants, including Jean Claude Eduardo J. Adonay, Jessie C. Espenisen Jr., Lance Hendrix M. Rocero, Precious Maeumi T. Hermo, Luellah Veniz L. San Jose, Jaiannah Phoebe L. Duazo, Aven Khalia T. Co, and Danzen Taga-an. Their participation and enthusiasm were instrumental in the school’s success.

The school’s principal, Dr. Maria Liza P. Cabildo, expressed his pride and gratitude to the students, teachers, and parents for their support and hard work. PBES also extends their gratitude to the SDO Pasay for their invaluable assistance in fostering the talents and skills of students through such enriching programs.

The 2024 Division Science and Technology Fair was a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and skills in science and technology. It also provided a platform for them to interact with other students and learn from each other. PBES is grateful for the opportunity to participate in the competition and looks forward to future events.
